Co-Head Instructor in Podiatry at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a professor at Universidad Católica de Valencia, teaching minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery. An AMIFAS Associate Professor, she lectures across Spain and Europe and co-authors foot and ankle surgery book chapters.
Board-certified podiatrist focused on minimally invasive foot surgery, including bunions, hammertoes, and bone spurs. Dr. Lee practices in Mount Vernon, Illinois, and lectures at major MIS conferences. He earned his DPM from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency at Community Hospital of Ottawa, Illinois.
Board-certified podiatric surgeon and founder of MIS Intensive, the IMIFAS Conference, and MIFAS Elite. Dr. Ahn has performed 1,500+ MIS bone cases, trained 1,300+ surgeons, and organized more than 50 cadaver labs. He brings that clinical and teaching experience to your table, helping you recognize what to adjust while the technique is still in your hands.

Dr. TJ Ahn’s MIS Intensive Program is an official pathway to board certification in Minimally Invasive Foot and Ankle Surgery through the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry (ABMSP). The Advanced MIS Lab is part of that training pathway.
Workshop completion documents your training. Board certification requires meeting ABMSP’s separate eligibility, surgical case, portfolio, and assessment requirements.

The 2026 Advanced MIS Cadaver Workshop is a two-day, in-person workshop for foot and ankle surgeons with prior minimally invasive surgery (MIS) experience or at least one cadaver lab. Move from the visible model into real tissue. Practice the procedures on your own cadaver foot specimen, feel the anatomical differences, and use direct faculty feedback to refine your decisions and technique.

The 2026 Advanced MIS Cadaver Workshop is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, December 4-5, 2026. Daily session times will be provided with the final program.
Foot and ankle surgeons who already have MIS experience or have completed at least one cadaver lab. The focus is guided practice and advanced decision-making.
Each attendee will have one Cadara Foot™ and one cadaver foot specimen. On Day 1, connect tactile practice with visual feedback on Cadara Foot™ so you can see what your instruments are doing beneath the surface. On Day 2, transfer and reinforce that technique on your own cadaver foot specimen, with direct faculty feedback.
The workshop offers up to 12 CE credits through CME Dynamics. Attendance and activity requirements will be provided with the final educational program.
Yes. Registration includes the pre-lab case planning session, the Advanced MIS Decision Checklist and Procedure Planning Pack, and the live group case review office hour 30 days after the lab. Scheduling details are sent separately to registered attendees.

Yes. Prior training does not need to have been with Dr. Ahn. Bring an MIS foundation, the questions you want to work on, and a willingness to receive feedback.
Yes. After completing the workshop, you will receive a Certificate of Completion that you can display in your office. This documents workshop completion; it is separate from ABMSP board certification.
The preliminary Friday agenda includes Cadara Foot™ practice, exostectomy and hammertoe procedures, lesser metatarsal procedures including DMMO, tailor’s bunion correction, and MIS bunion correction with distal first metatarsal osteotomies, Akin osteotomy, and adductor release. Attendees will be introduced to techniques with and without fixation. Saturday covers first metatarsal base and reverse-chevron osteotomies, calcaneal osteotomy, tarsal tunnel release, common MIS pitfalls, external bandaging, and faculty case review. Topics and sequence may be adjusted; session times will be provided with the final program.
Dr. TJ Ahn is the host and instructor. Dr. Carmen Naranjo Ruiz from Spain joins as special guest faculty, alongside teaching faculty Dr. Brian Lee, DPM.
